Movement Control Order (MCO) - Covid 19
Assalamualaikum w.b.t & hi,
It's been almost a year since I wrote my last post. As usual, due to hectic schedule of my life, I was not able to update my blog .
As we know, we have been severely attacked by pandemic Covid-19 since few months ago. Thousands of people die around the world.
Currently, our country (Malaysia) is having 3rd phase MCO in order to curb the spreading of covid 19. Statiscally, we can see that Malaysia is performing well where more people are recovering and lesser people are being infected from day to day.
What I can say, this is the positive outcome that we have been waiting for and I hope that Malaysia will be fully recover from this pandemic covid 19.
On the other hand, there are few things that I can see the impact after 2 times MCO had been extended from positive and negative side.
1) Positive
- No more panic buy as it was few weeks ago. Even just now I went to grocery shop, I found that still got lot of gardenia bread available (no more classified as rare item)
- Statistic of revored people is more than 50% of total cases (it's been few days of new cases reported which below 100)
2) Negative
- More people (of course inside car or ride motorcycle) can be seen on the road; traffic becoming heavier (maybe people is started to immune with our situation) after more sectors were allowed to operate to balance our economy condition.
Thus, what I can say that, to those who work in the essential sector, please follow strictly the SOP as per advise by KKM and government. We are still not win over this covid-19 yet.
Here I would to list out few common measures that we must comply during this tough period
1) Social distancing at least 1 meter from each other
2) Regularly wash hand using soap and water for 20 seconds
3) Apply sanitizer on hand
4) Wear mask or/and glove while going out
5) Stay at home / Quarantine ourselves
6) Avoid gathering [I see a few of young people (not all) not comply this one; even at my area]
I would like to emphasize more on item no 5 where do not jeopardize the struggle of KKM and government in curbing spread of covid-19 by being selfish. Go out only for crucial and vital activities or else stay at home and quarantine ourselves.
Stay safe and be healthy to all.
